There's no debate that sig images are pretty much staple requirements of forums now.

However... if people aren't responsible, they can cause a tonne of grievances like making the page take longer to load as well as longer to scroll.

So, because of that, we think it's best if we impose a few small limitations on images in signatures.

You can have as many images as you want, but their sum height can't be over 150x600 pixels.
As for file size, if possible, no more than 100kb in total would be appreciated.

Hopefully, if everyone can stick to this guideline, forum threads will be quick to load and easy to navigate.

Thanks to the 160 height rule on GF I've gotten into the habit of making all my signatures at most 130 in height, to allow space for a line of text as well. ;)

That's a good idea. B)
You don't really need an epic-ly high sig... I usually think thinner is more stylish.

curse you!

Hahaha sorry man... I don't suppose you could cut that sig down a smidge could you..? ;)

Merrick, could you not scale down the signature to fit within the height?

Likewise, in my opinion if it's bigger it's more of an eye sore, meaning people are more likely to scroll past or get annoyed rather than give whats there the time of day. ;)

Lets not get started on huge signatures, oh wait I guess that's what this topic is for >_<

Personally, I prefer smaller signatures, the more simple they are the more tolerable they are all round.

I agreee, I hate having to scroll 50% of a page just to get past the signatures
