There's a few other files I've been looking for, but unable to find anywhere. Namely, the second RPG shuttles skin (the one that contained the Type 11, Aeon and Argo shuttles, amongst a few others), also, the Station Vanderbilt map. Was that map taken down by New Hope? Actually, for that matter, did Mukosaka ever get out of teasers?

Hmm.. good question. I don't remember the Mukosaka-map to be finished, I think there was just this one version published.

Station Vanderbilt has been an exclusive map for members of St-Phoenix. I THINK it might be published as public version eventually, but ~TF~ should give a comment at that as the leading creator now.

For the other ones.. I don't know.

RedTechie has uploaded his RPG-X gamestate into the database here, maybe it contains the files you're looking for? ----> somewhere here:  http://forums.ubergames.net/files/

Thanks. I did actually get a link to the Vanderbilt map from the Phoenix website, got the "Not a JPEG" error, something to do with RPGXCE apparently, still not worked out how to fix it.

As for the other shuttles, they were part of an SRP now I think about it, so I doubt Phenix will have it... Downloading 1.9GB for a chance of finding a 5mb file... yeah... :P

Thanks for your help though!

You're welcome!

Ouch... bad error. I think there was a problem with the "Assimilated Poseidon B" map, you should erase/move the pk3-file out of your directory.

Well, you COULD give it a try :P
Maybe someone here still has the files flying around in his RPG-X2 or Baseef - folders.....?

Hmm.. maybe there was another map which was modified by Marc Harison which caused the error. AFAIK there was a shader which got overwritten by another, not working shader. ... ?

We discovered this problem, and it is actually to do with rpgxCE. We don't know what the actual problem is. Sorry brex

Hm, guess I'd have to get some input from someone at TLO then, I'll scour through the rpgxCE base install and see if there's anything added in there that shouldn't be there. Strange how it only happens on that one map though.

Well, I got a console dump, doesn't appear to reveal anything.

I deleted a few of the default files that came with RPGXCE, but still not working.

City-UFG is the one from Marc that is causing this issue. Not sure if that is the case here as well.

As far as I know, I don't have this map. I should probably pull this over from the other thread, but since upgrading to RPG-XEF, I have also been encountering errors on maps such as Poseidon B and rpg_ussvoyager "RF_BeginFrame() - glGetError() failed (0x501)" not sure if that may be caused by the same issue as of yet.

As far as I know, the other player from my group, Odyssey, has an almost identical file layout, and does not get these errors.

While I'm on the subject, there is another file I have forgotten whether it is needed or not, pak92.pk3 seemingly, this would have been replaced by the new .dll files used by rpgxEF?

EDIT: That RF_BeginFrame error, I have now fixed, seemed r_ignoreglerrors had become "0" somehow. After removing a few files from BaseEF and RPG-X2 akin to "Divide and Conquer", I have still been unable to successfully load Vanderbilt.

This was exactly the error caused by these wrong shaders / damaged texture files of Marc's maps.

There might be still some files around causing this error.

Another solution could be to just re-download Vanderbilt again, maybe the files were damaged while downloading/decompressing them.

I don't think so, I'm still having this error on Vanderbilt regardless.

I don't have City-UFG installed as far as I know.

Yeah, the error is pretty reproducible, I made a pure RPGXCE install, upgraded to rpgxEF, then with just Vanderbilt, and had the same results.

It would be more useful if the error told us what the file path to this "Not-JPEG" was.... could even be a problem with the RPG-X2 files with RPGXCE, as opposed to the base EF pak0-3's.

What confuses me about it, to be honest, is that RPGXCE is -exactly- the same as most vanilla EF installs, minus a couple of extra maps and the TLO rankset.

I suppose those things could be the things causing conflict, but it's very unlikely.

Nevertheless, I'll look into it with an empty RPGXCE install soon (we're about to release an update so I will hopefully be able to include a fix for this issue).

I've done some research into this. According to various websites, when the engine loads the PK3, it unloads the image files, and it finds a corrupt file, and throws up the error.

Hope this helps!

~TF~ has narrowed it d own: Something is wrong with RPGXCE's pak3.pk3.

We'll work on fixing this, and integrating a fix into the next version, out soon.

In the meantime, I assumethis can be fixed by pulling it across from a disk we already have, if we have them?

Yep, we've fixed it with a different pak3.pk3. It'll be in the 1.2.5 update due out shortly (along with rpgxEF and other things).
