Don't know if this has already been reported but the "Latest Forum Posts"-Box on the Front Page has been hacked or so. Would be great if someone could finally fix that.

Er, has it?

How so?

It shouldn't be hackable. It's just a quick MySQL query grabbing the latest posts from the forum tables. Unless it's getting spoofed or something. Hmmm... :skeptical:

It seems to be a spambot attack or something like that ... I already deleted a huge ammount of spam and banned multiple users yesterday ...

You may know this already so apologies if I'm repeating anyone, but on the {UFP} board we were beginning to have a serious issue with spam bots, firstly on phpBB3 but they followed us onto vB3. As soon as we enacted a specific question, and therefore one only humans should be able to answer, we saw it cut to 0.
It's a standard feature of vB3 and might be worth employing as I hear ReCaptcha is no longer working, and I know what a pain dealing with spam bots is. In any case, we found out how to do it on our own boards here: http://www.vbulletin...t-registrations
Hope this is helpful.
