Why not put it at the far right of the text ? At the end of the "k" in Trek ? Overlapping the seperator and Dauntless ?

Do you mean putting the arrow there or the image of dauntless?

I tried doing what you suggested but that didn't work. The arrow had to be to big and to still fit the picture it had to be rotated even more which didnt look good.

Alright, I made a slight adjustment to the logo, and i think i like it the way it is now.
Here is the logo inside a "promo pic" for tonights Dauntless episode:

The thing i changed is that i put the top/left half of the arrow behind the text for the most part (its just a little bit in front of the A and the R in STAR) and put it in front of the text on the right part, in stead of having it in front of the text on the left part and behind the text on the right part, i think this looks good now :)

The Dauntless is pretty blurry, but I guess this was intended... to actually create a warped effect (if this is your intention) you might want to add another layer with stretched-fading Dauntless Image and merge to add a warped effect. Something like this:

I created the effect out of multiple blur-streched overlays of the Defiant Image.

If you dont intend to create a warped effect, it would look way better if the Dauntless is clear and sharp.

I was actually aiming for a "Time Dilation" effect. The front of the Dauntless in sync with the planet and the back a little bit out of sync. This didn't actually happen in the episode but i thought it would look cool for the poster :P
