I just signed up to Facebook again... last time I lasted a whole 2(!) days... then I 'deactivated' this time I lasted... 10 minutes... I don't know why I'm saying this, probably something to do with Lee and the fact I don't rant much :P

Anyway that's where I've gone just incase 'XYZ misses me' :)

(Btw even after 'deactivating' I'm still getting e-mails :(, and yes, I'm sure I opted out)

John, your Steam picture makes me feel nice.

It unfortunately doesn't make my controversy stick grow mainly because I've never used it. Myspace all the way, unless you're a total tard twelve-year-old girl who adds a bunch of pedos and Twilight actors and Katy Perry and Taylor Swift to her friends. All that annoying hatred people on the news show to msp can easily be rescinded if more people were like me and only added people they know in real life.

So what made you leave?

Within 5 minutes I had about 100 e-mails

Heres some Facebook email advice from one of my good friends

basically if the emails are annoying you just set up a new email account where ever you want, then go on facebook and add the email address, all the facebook emails will then be sent to that address

you can just leave it cus facebook never sends you anything important :)

since i set mine up in march i have had about 3000 emails from them !!

Quoted for utter truth and win.

I hate Facebook with all my soul. Best of luck to any of those that try and hack it.

I'm actually going to agree with Lee and the Doc... I only made it because I was... persuaded to -.-

I know the feeling, Brex. Fellow students at my college intended to create a Facebook account for my birthday, but... then they realised that I would have to validate it... so I think they settled on a Luke Sutton fan page.

Or simply don't fill out every single field on the website and use it to keep in touch with relatives and friends that are otherwise harder to keep in touch with. >:)

Or you know... turn the computer off, go downstairs and talk to them face to face :P

"harder to keep in touch with" I think thats not the same as just downstairs but maybe elsewhere in the world or someone you just don't see very often becasue visting is not an easy job eg. 7 hour car trip maybe

I have Facebook to keep in contact with relatives and people I know. I don't spam the News Feed with song lyrics like some people.

I use Facebook all the time. I have it set so that it only sends me emails when someone posts on my wall, and it only sends me emails when someone posts on my wall.

I like some of the apps on it, I use it to plan get togethers with my friends, I use it to do school work, I use it to keep in touch with family. I find it to be a very fun, and useful website.

I use it but its only set to email me for friend requests, which are not all that often(since all my local friends have been on for a long time already.) If I didn't have it I would have missed a couple of weddings because of outdated contact info. As was said, just don't go nuts with filling in every questionaire.
My dad has it and his profile is set to be semi-invisible to be seen by 4 friends only.
