Kind of looks like Stalker meet Far Cry (1) meet Fallout meet Fuel

Also looks kinda like a film I was watching one day but I can't remember what it was called...

Looks promising, although I don't trust many things with EA's name on it anymore

That explains their original proposed slogan, of course.

I trust absolutely everything in the hands of id Software, but they're certainly risking asdfing stuff up by using EA and Bethesda as producers (Bethsuck for Doom 4).

Bethesda sucked for Conquest, Encounters and to a lesser extent, Legacy.

I like the tactical decisions raised in Conquest, not the actual combat, Encounters is fun to play every so often when I'm bored and Legacy when modded is a right beaut for space battles.

But when you look at other Bethesda titles such as Fallout 3 you begin to forgive them :)

My friend Ian has Conquest for Wii, and I suppose I can see the appeal of the tactical side, although if I wanna do that, I'll play SFC2.

Anyway, back on topic...

From what I have played from Bethsuck, Bethsuck sucked from Legacy, Oblivion, and Oblivion With Guns.

Apparently in an interview John Carmack said Bethsuck will keep their hands away from making FPSes and id certainly won't go anywhere into making crappy RPGs.

I know a guy who just got hired at id Software. Most people hate doing the menus, but he enjoys it. He worked on Lord of the Rings: Conquest when he was at EA. Now the lucky bugger will get to play this before the rest of us.

We could always try sexual favors.

And no, it is a universal truth that everything developed by Bethesda is awful.

("on" button is hit with wet kipper)

Well, everyone in Fallout 3 looks exactly the same, they move like the people in the old Flash animations that I did when I was twelve that I refuse to show anyone ever, the environment is mega-copypasta, and there's no actual RPing (The last time I played I spent two hours in a subway looking for daddy following a linear path while shooting things and the only person I meet being a trader with no real dialogue options).

What's left with the minimal RPG-elements used to call it an RPG is a really, really crappy shooter with super-retarded-retarded-dumb A.I., ugly sound effects, a cheat built into this device you get when you're ten years old, and really, really terrible weapons.

I first played on the second difficulty but got bored and then started up again a few months later because a friend said I didn't enjoy it because I wasn't playing it on the fourth. Unfortunately, the fourth just makes enemies harder to kill. Why in the ****ing ****ing ****ting **** nipples hell does it take two shotgun blasts to the head to kill a regular person? The thing that's insulting is that halfway through shooting them in the face, a notification pops up telling you that whatever part of their body you shot is crippled. Why, then, does shooting them in the face do as much damage as shooting them in the foot?

And Oblivion. I threw that out. I forget a bit about it, but here's something I obviously couldn't have written now. http://damicat.googlepages.com/
