We'll see how it goes... I hope it will last at least as long as SG-1.

If SG1's season 7 plus 8 were any indication, it rather shouldn't . . .

I have. Its okay. SG-1 and Atlantis were better, but then they were very different shows, and Universe is still in it's first season still... I'm not sure how long I'd want to watch Universe for. It seems like it has a plot that could only last a season.

I am really liking it so far, I like that it's much darker than the other shows in the franchise yet it still has the same fundamental baseline tying it all in very nicely. Love the characters and the interactions between them. The only thing I really don't like so far is the new gate... I just think it's a bit weird.

I think it's boring. Sure, the characters are jerks and all, but they're not memorable jerks. When you can't remember people's names and resort to nicknames like "Colonel Hardass" and "Doctor NotBaltar", there's a problem, It's really failed to grasp my attention much in the same way that Defying Gravity failed to - by boring me to death. Characters are lacking in depth and nuance; the writing barely feels like it's there; and it's just plain plodding - lacking in any dynamic motion whatsoever.

No no, Glee is worse.

Plus every show on the Disney Channel...

Plus most other shows on TV these days...

The above signature is a testament to the days when roleplaying was actually alive.

Have you ever actually watched Glee. It is without a doubt one of the best new shows this year. Its absolutely fantastic.

I also disagree on the TV sentiment, there are plenty of fantastic shows on TV. Lost, 30 Rock, Weeds, Mad Men, just to name a few.

Stargate Universe however, is most definitely not my thing.

Chuck quickly rose to my most loved show this last year ^_^

As for Universe, it's different - as are opinions.

Oh well, unsurprising but disappointing axe.

Considering the producers recently announced that they could wrap up the story if they were given another season.... SyFy did what they do best... not care very much. It wouldn't surprise me if Wrestling repeats filled the gap.
