The simple reason why people don't care as much about the Doctor killing off billions of his own people, while people hate Jack for killing one.

The Doctor's people aren't human, that and it wasn't televised...

No one mentioned Gallifrey.

The Doctor has sacrificed whole civilisations for the better

Timelords/Daleks.

The above signature is a testament to the days when roleplaying was actually alive.

But seriously, those people that hate Jack for his actions, what would you of done, all the children were about to be taken to be used in some sick drug trade for the 456, and you have a choice, your grandson, or over a million other children, you could tell he didn't want to do it... But he did what he had to, to quote somebody from a totally different show.

"The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few"

In Jack's position, i know i would of done the same thing.

The problem is that you realise it didn't happen? That some guy actually wrote it? That's the biggest problem IMO

Timelords/Daleks.

As well as the Cybermen, several times, and the Racnoss. There are a few others in there as well I think.

And the Sontarans wern't "allowed" to participate in the Time War. They asked the Time Lords AND the Daleks if they could. Both refused.

Seriously, that happened.

And Fraggs, the 456 are just a Human name for the unknown aliens - something to do with radio wave frequency.

I <3 Torchwood Soundtrack.

I bought the first CD a little while back, planning on picking up the new one when that goes out next week.

I've downloaded it, and it has a lot of tracks. Good music, there. Especially "Judgement Day" and "Here comes Torchwood".
