Yeah, really amazing episode last night. Loved it. The show seems to be getting better and better each night. This is almost as good as Doctor Who in it's utter prime.

Can't help but thinking that they need to cram a LOT into tonight's finale, though.

GTFO SHARPKILLER AND OTHER SILLY PEOPLE READING DISCUSSION THREADS WHEN THEY HAVEN'T SEEN IT. POSSIBLE SPOILERS AVAST

It may have not drawn out in the most obviously 'good' way for you to watch - however I can see that everything had a purpose and despite the series' flaws, I DID want to watch it every single night so it was a well done compelling drama nevertheless.

See you around Torchwood.....erm.....k. (L.i.e.s.)

No, not a big fan of last night's final episode. Like I feared: a lot crammed into just one hour after an otherwise incredible, action packed, and emotional four episodes. The 456 threat never really materialised, and characters seemed to be dropping like flys for no reason. The ending was terrible, seemingly with no future for Torchwood. I, too, want a return to the good, secure days of Series One. Amd the hub rebuilt. Especially that.

The use of (screw spoilers) Jack's Grandson to save the day was both heartbreaking and brilliant television. I'm just beginning to wonder if I can ever redeem Jack in my mind, though. Especially when he reappears in Doctor Who later this year.

The Doctor has sacrificed whole civilisations for the better - I'm surprised people haven't complained as much about him yet.

This is true.

Perhaps it is the way it is portrayed.

I think so. There is a predisposed mind set between evil aliens and innocent children. ^_^

The simple reason why people don't care as much about the Doctor killing off billions of his own people, while people hate Jack for killing one.

The Doctor's people aren't human, that and it wasn't televised...

But seriously, those people that hate Jack for his actions, what would you of done, all the children were about to be taken to be used in some sick drug trade for the 456, and you have a choice, your grandson, or over a million other children, you could tell he didn't want to do it... But he did what he had to, to quote somebody from a totally different show.

"The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few"

In Jack's position, i know i would of done the same thing.
