Likewise, I think the work that has gone into this mini-series is a real credit to the BBC. It's the first big-budget project they've done, in my opinion, that hasn't come off a tad cheesy. It feels a lot more like one of the American epics that Fox likes cancelling. \0/

According to io9, 5.94 million people tuned in for the first episode on Monday. :o

I'm loving it. Its very brainless at some points with the constant explosions and gun-fights, but its fun entertainment, exciting, emotional with all the Jack/Ianto moments, and much MUCH better than the second series was (although it is very much a different style and broadcast system this year).
