Edit: Please read http://rpg-x.net/showthread.php?t=1285 if you do not have an account on the bug tracker.

When you go to http://bugs.rpg-x.net/ you are confronted with the task list for RPG-X 2. This includes the bugs and the todo's.

Please seach to see if your bug has already been reported, the summery of the tasks should indicate what it is about, so this will not take to long to check. Once you have checked to see if the bug has not already been reported click the "Add New Task" link on the 2nd menu running along the top. You will be taken here: http://bugs.rpg-x.ne...wtask&project=1

For the summery please enter a descriptive yet short expneration of the bug, ie: "EVA Suit not being removed by map entity proplery". This allows us to see pritty much exactly what the bug is about.

Next you have the option of task type. As beta testers you only need to use two: "Bug Report" or "Feature Request". However as we are reporting a bug select "Bug Report".

Selecting the correct category is key as the bug tracker is setup to email the correct person in control of that category. These are pritty self explainority. You can select the parent categories ("Mod Issue", "Map Issue") if the sub categories are not relivent.

When you first post a bug set it to Uncomfirmed. This will be an indication for other beta testers to check it and comment if they also experience the bug. Once a bug has been comfirmed by more than one person you are to change the status to new, this is an indication for the developers to start researching into the bug.

The Bug Tracker will automaticly email you any changes to any task you submit, so dont worry about continusaly checking your posted tasks to see if they have been changed!

Please do not assign the task to any developer, this will be done by the development team themselves.

Please set the Priority, Due in Version, and Due Date as their default values on all new bugs again this will be updated by the development team as and when required.

In the details box please fill as much information as you can in. What you did to cause the bug, where you able to preproduce it.

Once you have filled in the details please attach as many screenshots as possible.

Once you have done this submit the task and your done.

An example of what I would expect is: http://bugs.rpg-x.ne...tails&task_id=9

I know this was a pain in the arse to read, but the more detailed you guys (and girls) place in your reports the easier and quicker we can fix the mod and release it.

After we started getting the first couple of bug reports last night I releized I forgot to ask you guys to also check the console for errors and report any errors in the console by either screenshoting the console or transcribing the error into your bug report.

Also please whenever you make a bug report include a screenshot of the bug (if it is a visible one) so we can easily identify the bug.

would this include suspected bugs in RPG_atlantis or just new RPG-X2 features? (ex: emote, select entity execution, etc)

this may sound stupid but, do we have premade accounts on there? or do we register new ones. cause I tried logging in with my forum account details and it said I didn't exist so I registered.
